There are a lot of frame drop in field area. Same as iPhone version I give 3 stars for this game. I love the game.

Considering the scope of the series, it's strange having to sit down and play it on a portable like the ds but its so convenient when I'm on my travels lol. Playing this makes me wish i had.
The one thing I have noticed is how difficult this game is compared to the others I've played and really gives me an insight as to how strategy based the FF series can and actually be. Magic points aren't easily restored and there are hardly any items to restore it meaning you have to be careful about how much you use. Also, equipment could be easily allocated to a character before the job system is introduced, after it, you really do need to think about which sword, staff etc even a spell can be allocated to bring out the best in your team.
Final Fantasy III
Story-wise, it isn't as strong as the later entries but the gameplay makes up for it. Graphically, it isn't as good as it is on the PS or Xbox but I like how it looks similar to the crystal chronicle entries and it lends itself more towards a Nintendo feel of gaming. It looks not far off from IX, which is no bad thing for me. Music is excellent as ever.
Controls are excellent too, i like how you can use the stylus to move and to select items, enemies etc without needing to use the buttons except or the on button lol. Theres a wi-fi feature which is available to exchange items with friends and other challenges available with it but i dont feel its an essential part to the experience and i rarely use it.
After, I've completed this I'm moving onto IV, but anyone playing this at all couldn't do no wrong at all. One person found this helpful. This game is ideal for fans of all ages, as it is child friendly. Level up, role playing game, with wide range of options. How you play is completely up to you and with Final Fantasy III you get the complete freedom to do so.
The job system varies depending on your play style, for instance, you can mould your characters into any job available to you at certain points in the game. So players that prefer heavy hitting melee fighters can assign their characters jobs such as warrior, dragoon, knight etc. All in all this game is well designed and very fun to play, only downside is the general grind that you have to do, but that comes with most role playing games, so it is to be expected.
Bought as gift, rcvd no complaints. Great installment of a fantastic series - Couldn't put this down, which is troublesome as it offers a lot of hours of gameplay! Though modern audiences might not always appreciate the gameplay of Final Fantasy III, it's a welcome piece of nostalgia for old fans of the classic rpg gameplay style.
This game is as most old school final fantasy games, fantastic, great, intresting, great story, well all who played final fantasy mostly will understand how it feel with games like final fantasy 9, its that feeling playing it.
Game is very very challenging from time to time, though great fun, and you will want to keep playing it : Recommend!
